Hillary Clinton / Young Lover is a brilliant, absurd and delightful 60-minute live comedy experience. It’s about a dashing young Kiwi on a passionate quest to save the Free World.

His name is Richard Meros, B.A.

In a delightfully earnest fashion he launches into a hilarious and persuasive argument that outlines the conditions and possibilities of Hillary Clinton taking him as her Young Lover prior to the 2016 Presidential Election.

He’s aided and abetted by a remarkable PowerPoint presentation. His research indicates that Mrs. Clinton not only wants, but needs to take a Young Lover in order to initiate the goldenest age of western culture and society. Furthermore, he believes himself to be manifestly destined for the role. Further-furthermore – he has the barkingly plausible reasoning to prove it.

The show is created by two New Zealanders: playwright and performer Arthur Meek & writer and director Geoff Pinfield. Arthur performs the sole role of Richard Meros, B.A. and uses a hand-held clicker to operate the thermonuclear PowerPoint presentation. It’s adapted from a book by the New Zealand author Richard Meros and the hit show On the Conditions and Possibilities of Helen Clark Taking Me as Her Young Lover

It premiered at La Mama Experimental Theatre in New York in March 2015 and was featured in the “lowbrow & brilliant” section of New York Magazine’s Approval Matrix.
