Circa Theatre has been operating since 1976 and has gained a reputation as one of New Zealand’s liveliest and most innovative theatres offering high quality theatre experiences to over 50,000 patrons per year. Two performance spaces – Circa One (224 capacity) and Circa Two (102 capacity) – allows Circa to present an eclectic annual season of work with more than 30-40 different productions staged each year.
Our theatre also attracts visitors to the city centre and waterfront; develops and nurtures talented actors, writers, directors, lighting and set designers, and other theatre practitioners; and reflects local, national, and international stories to Wellington audiences.

Principal Play Sponsor
$15,000 per play
- Principal Play Sponsor is recognised as “Name of Play presented by Your Name/Logo” in Circa season brochure, show program, and on the Circa website

- 100 tickets per play (to be used across the season)
- Opening night invitation for 10 guests

‘Gold Package’ Sponsor
$10,000 annual fee
- EITHER one full-house booking of 100 seats in Circa Two for an evening performance OR three “Dinner & Show” evenings (for up to 10 Sponsor guests)*
- Sponsor’s pull-up banner outside Circa Two on the evening if hosting a full-house Circa Two booking
- Right to use the Circa logo in places denoting your CSR/Community support
- Sponsor’s guest speaker presenting before the show

‘Silver Package’ Sponsor
$7,500 annual fee
- EITHER one ‘Circa Two’ daytime venue hire (between 8.30am – 4.30pm) for up to 100 invited Sponsor guests OR one Monday evening Circa foyer hire for up to 100 invited Sponsor guests (between 5pm – midnight)*
- Sponsor’s pull-up banner outside Circa Two/in the foyer on the evening
- Right to use the Circa Theatre logo in places denoting your CSR/Community support

This is a major sponsorship to support TACT in providing financial support directly to the creative artists (actors, playwrights, directors, designers, etc.) for their rehearsal and presentation season.
