Circa Theatre aims to make our theatre accessible for everyone. Audio description is the method of describing the non-verbal action in a play into headsets worn by blind and visually impaired audience members, so that they can access nonvisual components.
We also provide a touch tour before or after the audio described performance. The tour allows the patrons to explore the set and costumes, or there might be a chance to meet some of the actors and or experience the props or puppets if applicable, before the show. Generally, the touch tour runs an hour before the show starts.
