Theatre Artists Charitable Trust (TACT) provides grants to artists performing at Circa.
TACT works hard to find resources and funding to support practitioners to have careers in the industry. TACT wishes are to embrace the professionalism of creative artists and to support them to continue to produce world class theatre in Wellington.
TACT is sustained through funding from Creative New Zealand and founding sponsor Chapman Tripp, together with individual donations. The grants to creative artists were modest in the early days but it is now essential that we increase these grants to help theatre makers achieve more viable careers in these challenging times.
