Relaxed Performances

We aim to make the theatre a comfortable place for everyone. Neuro divergent, autistic and disabled are especially welcome.

A relaxed performance is performed at the same level of quality as any other performance but is run in a much more ‘relaxed’ theatre setting where we welcome movement, taking a break, and noise throughout.

Shows can run a Relaxed Performance during their show season. The show can be run with less intense lighting, less loud noises, the house lights remain on and the patrons can roam around the space and sit where they like, we leave the doors wide open and there is a dedicated comfortable break out space in the foyer. We also provide photos of the performance space and the script with notes before the show with an outline of the plot.
