At Circa Theatre we enlist qualified Sign Language interpreters to interpret what is being said in the live performances for Deaf people who use New Zealand Sign Language to communicate.

There are various approaches and styles, but the interpreter is usually either at the side of the stage, or integrated into the acting and action on the stage.
